The flagship 12.2Mp 450D with "LiveView" perfect for easy focusing and a 3" LCD screen, Canon's latest DIGIC III processor, now for sale as with the stock Canon internal ir/uv cut filter removed @ £450 or alternatively with Astronomik L-clip (H-alpha) filter or Baader filter mod replacement at a bargain all inclusive price of only £500.


The 10.1Mp 1000D is essentially a smaller version of the 450D, with DIGIC III too but 12 bit adu as opposed to 14 bit, 2.5" LCD instead of 3", just as capable but more modestly priced at £430 with the stock Canon internal ir/uv cut filter removed.

Do you make sure there is no dust trapped during the conversion? **

I get as close to a dust free conversion as is practical but in most cases there will remain a few dust specks normally invisible in photographs except at very high focal length (> f22 ) and against a very light background.

These can be removed manually using a graphics editing package or with later models, using Canon's dust delete data functionality if so desired.
